I'm MISERABLY bored and not challenged at my job... asked for more work but nada.. is it time to go?

Started this job in February and am miserably bored. I work at a front desk and thought I'd be doing more "managerial" things but I'm really not. I asked for more duties and was given some but nothing of substance. I have been looking for other jobs and want to leave but I feel kind of bad. I know it's my life, my job, my choice, but I feel like a job hopper.. I'm NOT but I can't be bored to tears daily. It's awful. I'm also not working in my chosen field which stinks. Am I wrong to leave? I WILL NOT LEAVE WITHOUT ANOTHER JOB IN PLACE.
