Best hotels for females in their late 20s?

Im going to Vegas with 3 friends(were all females in our late 20s). Which hotels would be the best? We dont really want to gamble. We plan on staying by the pool during the day and going to clubs/shows at night. We would like to stay on the strip preferably somewhere without a lot of kids. I was leaning towards the MGM Grand, The stratosphere, or the Montecarlo. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
